Bad Medicine Lake is one of the cleanest and clearest lakes in Minnesota. The lake hosts an abundance of wildlife, favorites being the tiny hummingbirds and the call of loons in the evening. We have two private cabins available for guests to choose from, each on its own large wooded lot, and each with its own docks, beach area, fire pit and boats. Bad Medicine is the state's best known Rainbow Trout lake. Other fish include walleye, northern and perch. We provide a canoe, paddleboat, and fishing boat at each cabin, so you can check out all the beauty Bad Medicine Lake has to offer.
Hiking, boating, swimming, and fishing, are always part of the "Up North" summer experience! There are acres of beautiful, thick natural woods for you to explore all that nature has to offer. And don't forget to bring the marshmellows to roast in the lakeside fire pit.
Autumn brings a burst of the most colorful and awesome scenery; a panorama of reds, yellows, and oranges circling the clear blue lake. The area has an abundance of grouse, partridge, and deer.
Winter is a wonderland of pure, white snow on green pines. Marvel at the winter silence, the brisk air and the always clean, white snow. You can get outdoors and enjoy ice fishing, sledding, snowmobiling, ice skating or X-C skiing. |

Summer season is Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The monthly rate is based on a 4-week stay, beginning and ending on a Saturday. Available by the week, Saturday to Saturday. Minimum 3-day stay (only on an "as available" basis). 10% Discount to Seniors Groups. Rates subject to 6.5% MN Sales Tax and a 1% Area Lodging Fee. Smoking is not permitted. The home is not accessible to handicapped persons. Small dogs are allowed with pre-approval. We do not allow camping or RV's on the premises. Rates below are as follows: Log Cabin Summer, Log Cabin Winter, Cottage Summer, Cottage Summer with Bunkhouse. Thanks! |
