Our new vacation cabin is beautifully crafted, and is a perfect secluded getaway in the woods. It is a "true" log cabin unlike those that are log-sided with partial logs. This luxury cabin features quality pine and oak construction throughout. Nestled on twenty acres of wonderful wooded land, you will only be about a five mile drive to the "Tippy-Dam" where you can find excellent fishing for Steelhead, Brown trout and Walleye. This is the Manistee River, one of the premier rivers in the country. Andy's local fish and tackle is a great source for additional fishing information.
The "cabin" is very isolated and bordered by very few residents. Our special guests will enjoy being surrounded by the Manistee National Forest and backing up to Indian Reservation land. It is only thirty minutes to Cabarfet Ski Lodge, and about forty five minutes to Traverse City.
This delightful cabin is 1,200 square feet, offering a living room, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. (Additionally there is a full basement).. The master bath is equipped with a new shower stall, and the second bath is a full bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub (regular tub with Jacuzzi jets). The master bedroom is decked out in hickory (queen bed) with the larger of the guest rooms accented with red cedar furniture (queen bed) and the smaller guest room has pine accented furnishings (twin over full Bed)
The cabin has a fieldstone base and a great natural fireplace.
There are both front and back porches, along with a new Vermont Castings gas grill and a fire pit. It is incredibly restful and peaceful, so that our guests will be able to relax and unwind completely. There is no washer and dryer yet, but there is a local laundromat in Brethren (10 minutes away).
The lovely living room has just been newly furnished, and features top of the line lodge style furnishings. Guests will enjoy cuddling up on the large comfortable sofa near the beautiful fireplace. There is also a 28" television with DVD, VCR, Playstation 1, games, and a mini stereo. The charming six foot pine dining table makes a wonderful gathering place, featuring two benches and two captain's chairs.
Our kitchen has it all! There are beautiful wood cabinets and sleek black appliances including a range, built in microwave, refrigerator/freezer with the water and ice dispenser in the door, and a dishwasher. The kitchen also is equipped with plenty of new dishes, pots, pans, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, and even a coffee grinder. Your towels and linens are included as well.

April - September - October: $149 nightly - $899 weekly
May & June: $159 nightly - $999 weekly
July - August: $1299 weekly only
November - March 2006: $149 nightly - $699 weekly
Towels, linens, and departure housekeeping are included in your rates. Please add 8% for lodging taxes. There is a two night minimum on all nightly rentals. A refundable security deposit of $100.00 is required within one week of making your reservations. This check will be immediately refunded back to you after housekeeping determines there are no damages and no missing items. In case of any damages, the expense to repair or replace, will be deducted from your security deposit, and the difference, if any, will be immediately refunded.
If you cancel your reservation giving more than 14 days notice, the deposit will be fully refunded back to you. To cancel with less than 14 days notice, the security deposit is nonrefundable.
Personal checks are accepted. However, there is a $30.00 fee for returned checks. Checks can be made out to "PS Enterprises", and mailed to PS Enterprises, PO Box 994 Grand Blanc, Michigan 48480. Visa and MasterCard payments are welcome. Your payment can also be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express online via Pay Pal. Your vacation payment is due in full two weeks prior to your check in date.
