ALWAYS A PLEASURE. Three Minutes to beach access. |
|
|
Located between Seaside and Rosemary Beach, ALWAYS A PLEASURE is a great place to enjoy the wonderful attractions of the Emerald Coast, near family entertainment, golf, biking, fishing, excellent restaurants and shopping, yet away from the traffic in Destin.
This spacious, 5 BR, 3 BA home is beautifully decorated and will allow you to relax and vacation effortlessly. It is perfect for a multiple-family, multiple-generation family vacation or getaways with friends and business associates (great for closing that big deal). Just a few steps to the pool and a few more to the dedicated beach access, ALWAYS A PLEASURE is closer to the beach than many homes in beachfront communities and rents for half their cost.
The main living area, on the ground floor, includes the living room, dining room and breakfast area, which is open to the fabulous, well equipped kitchen. Especially convenient is the first floor master bedroom suite with a king bed and full bath – perfect accommodations for someone not wanting to climb stairs. The large 2nd floor master suite has a king bed with a sitting area with wicker rocking chairs, a large bath with separate shower and Jacuzzi tub. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and shares a full bath with the 4th bedroom that includes two full size beds. The 5th bedroom is equipped with a queen sleeper sofa and can be used as a bedroom or to enjoy some quiet time watching your favorite movie. All bedrooms have very large closets.
Unwind and enjoy your afternoon and evenings on one of the four decks after a day of fun in the sun. Listen to the Gulf waters lapping at the sugar sand; watch the sun set and sip your favorite beverages on side upper deck. Broil your favorite cuts on the lower back deck and consume them on the side deck, dining room, breakfast area or the kitchen bar, all of which are on the first floor. An exterior hot and cold beach shower is also available on lower deck.
Golfing: The bag drop at Tom Fazio’s Camp Creek Golf Course is a five-minute drive from ALWAYS A PLEASURE. Other courses are nearby as well, including the Hombre Championship Golf Course, a site for the Qualifying School for the 2002 and 2004 PGA Tour; Bay Point which has two courses, one with 152 slope may be the hardest golf course you’ll ever play, the other a more reasonable venue; Holiday, the best value you’ll find; Kelly Plantation, the most pristine; Regatta Bay; Greg Norman’s Shark’s Tooth which is private with limited public access; and Santa Rosa Beach located on Scenic 30-A.
Other Activities: Be sure and experience the excellent deep-sea fishing and bay fishing in the waters of the Emerald Coast. Bike, jog, hike or roller blade along the recently paved 19-mile trail from Rosemary Beach, through Seaside and beyond… the entire length of Scenic 30-A. Seaside, with its many shops, restaurants, markets, free concerts and other cultural events is a must-visit venue less than six miles west. Casual restaurants, including the famous Grayton Beach Red Bar, and four fine restaurants that have been featured in Bon Appetit’ are all nearby. Panama City Beach begins five miles east where you’ll find the rides, shows, and other seasonal attractions including Shipwreck Island Water Park for the kids.
2003 and 2004 were very successful years with spring break weeks and all summer weeks being booked. While the Beaches of South Walton long have been noted for summer family fun, now they also are recognized for excellent late summer, fall and winter getaways. The pool is usable into late fall; golf is less expensive and the fish are still biting. Of course, the beach and dining at the many restaurants are great anytime. With winter high temperatures averaging in the low 60s, a week at the beach is much better than staying in cold northern climates.
