The Madison Cottage |

We would like to "Thank" past, present and future guests for their concerns regarding the Madison Cottage and Hurricane Charley which struck on Friday the 13th, August, 2004. We are more than thankful as we were one of the fortunate ones. The water marks measured 33". We experienced the loss of a car, air conditioning and some of our beautiful vegetation - all of which can be replaced. The cottage is up and running and ready for another season.
For those who prefer the privacy of a private vacation residence, you'll enjoy this charming "Key West Style” cottage overflowing with the olde Florida accents. The cottage features the old Florida styled tin roof, tinted windows, ceiling fans, central air/heat and off street parking. Located mid-island on Estero Island, and only a few feet from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, the cottage is furnished casual island style and nestled among privately owned homes - it is your home away from home.
Inside you'll find a washer/dryer, TV w/cable in living room and kitchen, VCR, CD/casette stereo and board games. In addition, all bed linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the guest bedroom a double.
Outside you’ll find a large private back yard with a 10 x 20 deck surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The deck is complete with outdoor furniture and propane BBQ grill - perfect for entertaining or sunbathing. Also provided in the rear shed are 4 beach sand chairs, 2 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and 4 bicycles (2 male, 2 female). As of this January (2004), the newest addition is an outdoor shower with hot/cold water.
A few steps from the Madison Cottage to Estero Boulevard, you’ll reach our deeded beach access which is your invitation to seven miles of beautiful white sandy beaches where you’ll enjoy wonderful days of sunning and beautiful sunsets in the evening.
A short drive, walk, or the Town Trolley, will take you to the public fun pier known as Time Square for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. There is also an array of marina’s, theaters and golf courses as well as a public swimming pool.
