Drive by the impressive dolphin fountains and magnificent landscaping and wave to the man at the security gate. You've just arrived at Emerald Island Resort.
It's hard to believe you're only a few miles from Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and the thousands of other attractions when you're sitting on the patio facing an 11 acre nature preserve.
Go out the front door and you are a few steps from a beautiful, heated pool, hot tub, tiki bar, play ground, grills, bike path, tennis, volleyball and club house. Inside the club house, the many amenities include snack bar, game room, weight room, cyber cafe and sauna. Go back inside and relax in our professionally tropically decorated living room. Sun pours in from the huge windows on every side. Don't worry because there is central air with separate upstairs/downstairs controls. Two of the bedrooms are suites with huge closets. The upstairs suite walks out to a deck overlooking the nature preserve. For the young (or young-at-heart) there is the Mickey room, decorated with Disney charm. One of the bathroom is handicapped friendly.
