Our newly remodeled 1-bedroom condo is a deluxe "Cottage" unit in North Coast Village. That means that you can access our place from the outdoors...front or back. There are no stairs to climb or interior halls to walk through. We sit on the ground floor on a greenbelt. You will have the feeling of a spacious semi-private backyard with the beach beyond. We have a great 180 degree unobstructed view of the beach.
Top photo: taken from our patio. You can clearly see the sun setting over the ocean from our patio or lanai. Just in front of us is the Estuary (where the river meets the ocean and the birds nest in sanctuary) and to the right of us the Harbor is visible. Our sliding glass door is keyed so you can walk out your door and go right to the beach. Beach chairs and towels are provided to enhance your indoor/outdoor living!

Oceanside boasts some of the finest white sandy beaches in Southern California with great surfing and swimming areas. The beach is clean and uncrowded...great for taking walks! We are located between the Harbor and the Pier. The Harbor is a short walk from our spot. There are a few shops, boat and jet ski rentals, sailing lessons, fishing and whale watching tours available. There are several great restaurants to choose from for casual snacks or full dining.
INSIDE OUR VACATION HOME: 3rd and 4th photos: living room and bedroom. Our 1-bdrm condo is smoke-free and sleeps 4. This is a look at our living room. There is a queen size sofa bed and swivel chairs and a nice dining room set in a separate area. We have recently re-upholstered our furniture and our tables and entertainment unit were specially designed for us. Everything is new and fresh. We have soft color tones, mirrors and art throughout. There is a T.V. (with cable hookup), VCR, CD, audio tape player, gas or wood burning fireplace and a phone. The kitchen is light and airy and fully equipped including a microwave and dishwasher. There is a barbeque on our patio for your use. The inside is designed to take in and enhance the view of the outside.
The bedroom contains a firm queen size bed with new bedding. The ceiling fan offers a nice gentle breeze. There is a phone in the bedroom and a computer modem hookup on the desk which looks out onto our front garden. Our bathroom and vanity areas are separated from each other for maximum usability.
This is truly a great Escape get-away!

We think this is the best location in the 550 unit complex. We have a dynamite view with easy access in and out. Our cottage is quiet and peaceful. We have two parking spaces. |
