Excellent 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), kitchen, utility, large terrace (with views of the Mar Menor and La Manga Strip). Great facilities for families including 2 pools (1 indoor heated), gymnasium, children's play area and underground parking. Close to local facilities and beach is less than a minutes walk.
The apartment complex is situated on the beaches of the Mar Menor, the Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which enjoys average water temperatures of 30c during the summer months. Because of the shallow water, this makes an ideal location for all sorts of water sports. There are international schools close by which offer all sorts of nautical activies from scuba diving, water skiing to wind surfing. Everyone is catered for - novice to expert. The Mar Menor is also home to The Black Mud which is said to help treat rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments. Nearby is the famous La Manga Club which is host to championship golf courses, as well as tennis courts, spa facilities and a vast range of other activities.
Essential for any holiday is a large variety of restaurants and bars, La Manga offers the tourists a wide range to choose from, including, Spanish, Greek, Indian, Chinese or Mexican. The Tomas Maestre Marina comes alive at night with its many bars and restaurants and you must sample the local fish and shellfish fresh from the sea, or the locally famous Paella, a typical rice dish of the fisherman.
There is something for everyone here, whether you are with your family or are a golfer and want an action packed holiday or a relaxing break, you can do as much or as little as you like.
Golf on the Mar Menor is now a major industry. Although there are some very established courses present (such as the La Manga club resort) in recent times there has been a sharp increase in the quantity of courses, and therefore choice available. If coupled with the neighbouring Costa Blanca the golfing market here is now hot on the heels, if not rivalling, that of the Costa del Sol and the Algarve. A great selection of courses are available ranging from easy-difficult and budget-expensive.
