This is an area where there is plenty to do for both golfers and non golfers alike, in both areas, with beaches, watersports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. There are four cities within an hour's drive - Alicante to the north, Elche to the north west, Murcia to the west and Cartegena to the south and two major international airports close by - Alicante and Murcia's San Javia - both within 40 minutes drive. 4 championship Golf Courses within 15 minutes drive from this property.
Green fees average £25 - £40 for 18 holes. There are 11 more courses within an hours drive. Open all year. Torrevieja (45km south of Alicante airport) is an old fishing town, with its own harbour and small fishing fleet. Bounded by the beautiful Mediterranean on one side and thousands of acres of fruit groves inland, the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and within moments you can be driving in picturesque open countryside, where you can stop and pick a fresh orange or lemon and enjoy the fabulous bounty that nature has gifted to this part of the world.
It is situated close to bus stops with regular service into the centre of Torrevieja with a large hypermarket.
This villa is ideally situated for those that want to get the best out of a holiday. Only 30 minutes from Murcia airport or 35 minutes from Alicante The villa is in a quiet location and away from main roads. 5 minutes drive to Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca coast you could be settled in and enjoying your holiday before you know it.
Outside, there is a small terrace with garden and private driveway.
Downstairs The first bedroom is equipped with two single beds, bedside cabinet, bedside lamp, free standing wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom is also equipped with two single beds and has a bedside cabinet, bedside lamp and built in wardrobe.
The downstairs bathroom has a fully enclosed shower cubicle, WC and a wash basin. There is also a storage unit for clean towels and toiletries.
A lovely open plan lounge and dining room. The dining area has a beautiful table inlaid with granite and 6 stylish dining chairs. The lounge area has a comfortable suite with floor standing lamp and coffee table. There is a TV with satellite system, VCR and Music centre. There is a selection of Video's, Music and games. (Although you may wish to bring your own music?)
The kitchen comes fully equipped with full oven, hob and extractor fan. There is also a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster & kettle. All utensils, crockery and cutlery are on hand to cater for 6 adults. There is a small utility area with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer as well as an ironing board and iron.
Upstairs you have the master bedroom with super-king-size bed. This bed can be converted to two full single beds if you prefer. Two bedside cabinets with bedside lamps, a built in wardrobe and safety deposit box. A travel cot with linen is provided for small infants. There is an en-suite with full-size bath, shower and shower screen as well as a WC and wash basin. There is also a storage unit for clean towels and toiletries.
Outside you will find a very large sun-terrace which is fully furnished with sun lounger and patio furniture for 'al fresco' dining. A BBQ with utensils, cutlery and crockery (suitable for outdoor dining) is provided for your enjoyment. The sun-terrace is equipped with lights to enable you to make full use of the area after sunset. A partial ocean view can be enjoyed from this terrace.
As well as the safety deposit box, the property also benefits from security grills, security alarm and shutters. Each room has a ceiling fan. We do not allow pets (sorry) and request smoking to be restricted to outside areas only, for the comfort of all future quests. We have a visitor’s book and welcome comments from our quests.
You may spend many leisurely days at the inviting communal pool (which also has small children’s pool) or take the short trip to the beautiful beach. (15 min stroll or less than 5min by car) At the beach you will find bars, restaurants, snack bars and lifeguards. There are supermarkets, restaurants and bars within a short walking distance and a selection of golf courses to test your skills, within easy reach by car. Within a 10-minute drive you will find more beaches and the renowned salt lakes, with parts of the adjacent areas being nature reserves.
Our property is prepared for arrival with all bedding, towels, tablecloths and tea towels provided. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. We recommend you hire a car to give you freedom to visit the many beautiful beaches and golf clubs and the ability to explore the area to the full. There are car rental companies based at the airports and there are links on this web page. Both Alicante and Murcia airports are within 35 - 45 minutes drive away and can be accessed through the many low cost airlines from airports across the UK.
The villa is very well equipped and is furnished to a very high standard.
Within 15 minutes drive are Villamartin Las Ramblas and Campoamor and 10 minute drive you have La Marquesa and La Finca Golf Courses.
Please note that most have a strict dress code and require a handicap card to play.
Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap.
Tee times can be booked one week in advance at Las Ramblas and 3 days in advance at Campoamor

Torrevieja has it own Water Park Aquopolies and there is also a Water Park in Quesada which is a 10 minute drive from this property.
Located in Benidorm, which is 60-minute drive, enjoy one of the most beautiful and fun theme parks in the world. There's something for everyone: shows, thrill rides and rides for the little ones. Come and have some fun at Terra Mitica or visit the water park at Aqualandia.
