The sumptious romantic bedroom at VGH |

Valletta G-House is a graceful historical pied-à-terre within the walls of a World Heritage City, restored with love and attention to detail, self-catering accommodation that is equipped with all the mod cons with its original character intact.
Valletta G-House is the result of a year invested by my Dad and I in creating a unique holiday home. When travelling with my partner to various destinations worldwide we always look for particular places to stay - properties that carry their location’s singular stamp and character. We look for accommodation which reflects the country’s history and culture in both architecture and furnishings. This is what I had in mind when I chose and refurbished Valletta G-House.
The 16th century Valletta G-House is as far removed from the blandness of hotels and normal holiday lets as you can get.
Valletta G-House accomodates two in a large double bedroom with a traditional Maltese wooden balcony, a sitting/TV room, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and bathroom.

| Notes: |
A holiday in Malta can take many guises. Visitors come here for the history, the archaeology, to learn English in a warmer country. They want to try out the Mediterranean cuisine and to enjoy the sun and sea. Some come out of interest for ecclesiastic paraphernalia and above all, the excellent examples of baroque architecture. Others have heard that it’s great for diving and sailing. The reasons are many and varied.
Staying in “the city built by gentlemen for gentlemen” adds value to the equation, making your experience one to remember. Away from the usual tourist resorts, Valletta G-House is in the heart of Maltese life and history. Valletta is built on a human scale, clustered attractively in a tight grid of narrow streets behind grand fortifications. Everything is within walking distance and let’s say it, there is no better way to see and experience a city than on foot.
Using Valletta G-House as your launch pad, you will discover the city built by the Knights of St John back in 1565, its palaces, its magnificent churches, its small shops and craftsmen. |
