The villa has an extensive garden with large lawns and plenty of blossoming rose bushes and multicoloured hortensias, as well as an olive grove. A shady patio, furnished with garden table and chairs, enables Guests to enjoy outdoor meals. The villa is situated in a strategic geographical position: when based at Villa LAKE VIEW, Guests will be able to take day trips to all the great cities of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, which hold most of the cultural , artistic and architectural wealth of Italy. And, at the end of your intense cultural visits, you then return “home” to pleasantly relax in your open air lounger, and enjoy the beautiful open lake and countryside view, and taste your grilled stake in total privacy , embraced by the restoring silence of the countryside where the only sounds are the songs of birds. TREVIGNANO ROMANO : Overview Situated on the shore of LAKE BRACCIANO, away from the smog of large cities and equidistantly situated between Rome (30 minutes) and the Mediterranean Sea (25 minutes), Trevignano is a delightful former little fishermen and artisanal wine producers village, located in the heart of the green roman countryside, at the northern doorstep or the Capital. Its medieval historic centre and its Etruscan museum are the pride of the village. Long sunny beaches and tall shady trees frame Bracciano Lake, surrounded by gentle hills, and protected north by the majestic Mount Rocca Romana. This explains its uniquely sweet climate in every season. The golden wheat fields, the vivid rust brown fertile soil, and the infinite green nuances of the century-old trees, surround and embrace the limpid waters of Bracciano Lake. In 1998, because of its luxuriant vegetation and its typical fauna, Trevignano Romano has been declared NATIONAL NATURAL PARK. Lake Bracciano occupies an area of 57 km2, is 160 meters deep and has a perimeter of 33 km. Tens of pubs, restaurants and genuine pizza houses offer a romantic atmosphere and exquisite Italian foods and wines. To them, like almost everywhere else in Italy, EATING IS AN ART. ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE Golf - Wind Surf - Sailing - Swimming - Diving - Fishing - Horse riding - Boat tours on the lake - Tennis -Excursions to the romantic Calandrina Woods - Visit to the Castle of Prince Odescalchi in Bracciano. Furthermore, when based in Trevignano, Guests can comfortably undertake one or more day trips to visit medieval Viterbo and the Popes’ Palace, the Art Museums and the Archeological Sites of Rome, the Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel, the Colisseum, as well as the Art Cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena (in Tuscany), Spoleto, Spello, Peruggia (in Umbria), Naples and the Island of Capri, the Vesuvian Volcano as well as Pompei,(in Campania) and the jewel towns of Ninfa and Sermoneta, the hundreds of fountains of Villa d’Este in Tivoli, the Islands of Ponza and Ventotene with their splendid protected marine park and much, much more.
