It is a residential pedestrian quiet and nice area, all the buildings of Via delle Terme are originally of 1400, and today preserved by the Ufficio delle Belle Arti.
Via de' Tornabuoni (the most famous high class shopping area) is just 1 minute from the house. Getting down the appartment, you'll find shops for every need from grocery to Gucci windows. Via Por Santa Maria is just 1 minute from the house. You'll reach all Florence open market, theater, museums, in less than 10 minutes slow walking. it is a pedestrian area, there are no free parkings in Via delle Terme 21 there is a private garage in which is possible to leave the car a pretty high rates.
