Cosy apartment (60 sq) in a detached house, in panoramic position on the green hill of Carmignano countryside, only 20 km far from Florence. It has an independent entry, parking area, private garden, swimming-pool and solarium. The apartment is made up of one large bedroom with a double bed (possibility of 2 single beds, too), one living room with a cooking area and a double bed divan, one bathroom with box shower, one store-room. The apartment is comfortable and it has TV sat and central heating. The surroundings are really quiet and charming. The landscape is typically Tuscan with olive-trees, cypresses and vineyards. From the house you can admire a great view over Florence valley. It’s a strategic position to reach important towns such as Florence, Lucca (50 km), Siena (60 km), Pisa (50 km), Vinci (15 km), Montecatini (30 km). The place is rich of culture and history, particularly suitable for people in search of tranquillity.
The area has an archeological, historical and artistic importance for the presence of two famous Medician Villas (villa “Ambra” at Poggio a Caiano e villa “La Ferdinanda” at Artimino) and of two Etruscan tombs (“Boschetti” e “Montefortini”) at Comeana. In the Carmignano church of S. Michele is placed a beautiful picture “Visitazione” made by the famous artist Pontormo (1494-1556). Vinci, the famous Leonardo native village, is only 15 km far from here. Moreover Carmignano is one the most famous Tuscan area for the DOCG wine production.
Nearby the house you can play tennis, golf, and horse-riding or you can walk on trekking routes on Montalbano.
There are a lot of good restaurants in our area and you can find many shops at Carmignano (2 km) and supermarkets at Poggio a Caiano(7 km).
Car is necessary although we are served by local buses (100 m. far from our house and in Carmignano 2 km far from our house). At Carmignano there is a bus service direct to Florence, too.
The nearest airports in this area are: “Amerigo Vespucci” at Florence (20 km), “Galileo Galilei” at Pisa (50 km) and “Guglielmo Marconi” at Bologna (90km).
