Come stay with us and visit Greece. Experience its heart in Athens. Find its soul at Delphi and Mycenae. Explore its beautiful islands of Mykonos, Andros and Evia. Then, relax with the serenity of our home in Schinias surrounded by the sea, sun, and fresh air without the noise and stress of city or hotel life.
Our home is a large luxury estate home located in one of Greece's most prestigious neighborhoods. We offer the following two rental options:
OPTION NUMBER ONE: OUR BASIC RENTAL providing sleeping for up to eight people in four bedrooms, including children and infants.
OPTION NUMBER TWO: OUR PENTHOUSE OPTION providing sleeping for up to ten people in five bedrooms, including children and infants.
THE BASIC RENTAL OPTION is the main living level and the bedroom level. The bedroom level has four bedrooms. Two bedrooms (the master bedroom and guest bedroom) have queen-sized beds and private bathrooms, the third bedroom has a queen sized bed and shares a hall bathroom with the fourth bedroom that has two single beds. All bedrooms, except the guest bedroom, have balconies overlooking the sea. The living level is open and spacious with a large modern kitchen, large living room, atrium, formal dining room, water closet, fireplace, entertainment area, and large, partly covered balcony overlooking the swimming pool and Aegean Sea. The very large modern kitchen has cherry wood cabinets and a breakfast nook overlooking the pool and sea. It is fully equipped with a ceramic stove top, convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker and ice water, built-in microwave oven, dish washer, & built-in BBQ.
OPTION NUMBER TWO, THE PENTHOUSE BEDROOM OPTION, adds our private bedroom to the rental. The penthouse bedroom suit is fully appointed with a king size bed, dressing room, walk-in shower, jacuzzi tub, and roof top terrace, etc, with a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
All the bedrooms are large and can eaily take a play pen we can loan you if you have an infant traveling with you. While you are staying with us, we will loan you a cellar telephone, at no charge, for your use. We will also meet you at the airport and escort you to the house, if you so desire.
We built our house almost as close to the sea as is legally permissible as we did need room for the pool. Only a few meters of natural coastline separate our back gate from the refreshing waters of the Aegean Sea. The cove below our house is perfect for diving, snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing.
Our private swimming pool is located just below the living level overlooking the Aegean Sea. Relax with your favorite beverage while soaking up the Greek sun. Swim under the stars while listening to the waves surging along the coastline below. Vacations are for pampering yourself and the pool is as good a place as any to start.
Want to take the kids to play in the sand? Our community association owns Schinias Beach, rated by Yahoo Travel as one of the top ten attractions of Athens. The beach with its tall pine trees and gentle sloping sandy shore without large waves or currents is perfect for small children and adults alike. Its entrance is adjacent to the guarded entrance into our community.
Access to the Athens Airport and downtown Athens and all it has to offer is easy and fast. Thanks to the 2004 Olympics we have a four lane divided expressway directly connecting us to downtown Athens with all its attractions and to the airport. Don't want to drive, use the mass transit system with its direct connections to the modern Athens subway.

Athens with its world famous sites of antiquity, museums, shopping areas, and restaurants are easily accessible using public transportation or by private automobile. Delphi, Mycenae, Epidavos, Corinth, Cape Sounion, Sparta, and other pages of history are convenient day trips by car. The sea jet from Rafina provides day cruises to many of Greece’s beautiful islands such as Mykonos, Tinos, Andros, and Evia. Nearby beach clubs provide water sports and sailing opportunities. Our home has its pool and seashore location for relaxation and swimming. Hiking and fishing opportunities abound along the undisturbed shoreline of Schinias. The local area with its lively towns of Marathon, Nea Makri, and Rafina offer many fine restaurants, clubs, sites of antiquity, museums and other attractions. |
