Situated in a pleasant tree-lined street in West Kensington, near the western end of Cromwell Road, our apartment is on the fifth floor with lift access. Within a ten-minute walk you can reach High Street Kensington with all its shops, a very large Tesco supermarket, and Holland Park, which is the Royal Borough’s largest park. This beautiful park has children’s play areas, sport facilities, a cafeteria, an ecology centre, grassed areas and woodlands, and formal and informal gardens including a Japanese garden.
The nearest tube is West Kensington (a three-
minute walk), and one can easily reach
Harrods within 5–10 minutes by taxi.
The common parts are smart, and the whole apartment is fully carpeted in gold, very spacious and has lots of very nice bits and pieces, including many pictures.
On entering, there is a cloakroom off to the right with toilet and washbasin. Next door is the fully fitted kitchen with a gas and electric hob, double oven, fridge-freezer, another freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and microwave. All units are in white. The sitting room has two settees, easy chairs, coffee table and large Sony flat screen TV cinema system with satellite channels; video, Hi-fi system with music piped to every room. There is an adjoining open plan dining room with seating for ten. The table can extend and accommodate another four persons.
The master bedroom has a king-sized double bed. There are two further twin bedded rooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. The family bathroom has a large jacuzzi bath (could easily seat four persons), separate shower cubicle with power shower and body jets, and double washbasin. TV above the bath.
