RIVERWOOD LODGE - Rustic lodge decor, and woodsy charm, make this large, elegant, river retreat perfect for family gatherings, an ideal “home away from home” for those attending wine country weddings, and a great destination for classmate re-unions, business retreats, or weekend getaways with good friends. This comfortable riverfront vacation home, in the heart of Wine Country, is warm, spacious and inviting.. A year-round getaway only 70 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's located in an area known for its ideal climate, picturesque vineyards, towering redwoods, spectacular coastal beaches, and the Russian River. Just 2 ½ miles from Healdsburg’s historic town plaza, its location is just minutes from the vineyards of Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys, and surrounding world-class wineries.
AMENITIES INCLUDE:
You'll enjoy the charm of unique rustic beds made of log and or willow construction. There are four queen size beds with pillowtop mattresses and fine white linens, as well as a full-size futon log bed along with additional overflow sleeptin accommodations. High quality down alternative comforters and bedding are provided.
Hot tub (5 person) with river views.
Gas BBQ grill and patio tables and seating for 20 on the large covered deck.
A custom dining table in the high ceilinged great room seats 12. A cozy, rustic kitchen table seats six.
The river rock fireplace with its log mantle is an inviting gathering place for conversation and TV viewing.
Flat screen TV, also VCR, Stereo, CD & DVD. Phone (providing free local & long distance calls).
Fully equipped kitchen, including tableware, cooking utensils, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, and small appliances; also includes cleaning supplies, kitchen towels and dish cloths, all basic kitchen necessities (sponges, scrubbing pads, dish soap, etc.), as well as a variety of basic cooking condiments and spices.
Linens and bath towels provided. Specialty soaps, lotions, and shampoo. Ironing board and iron. Washer and dryer.
Indoor table tennis (ping-pong), and other games available on the recreation level.
This is a riverfront property and we are located directly on the beach property.

Activities and Attractions
Things to do include strolling through Healdsburg, enjoying its unique shops, abundant antique malls, art galleries, and superb restaurants. Some favorite local activities include visits to wineries and tasting rooms, the cinema for movies and live entertainment, bicycling, hiking, hot air balloon rides, seasonal special events, and swimming, canoeing, or kayaking on the Russian River. You may also visit Lake Sonoma with its visitor’s center and fish hatchery, or take a scenic 45 minute drive to sandy coastal beaches where you’ll enjoy whale watching, tidepooling, or savoring fresh clam chowder. A nine hole golf course is a short 1 ½ miles away.
Riverwood is located directly on the Russian River, with riverviews, its own private beach, and access to swimming, canoeing and kayaking.
