NOVOLE is near the old Etruscan town of Cortona. It is a former Convent that we have restored respecting the original style and “atmosfera” of the buildings; it is in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and dates back to 1500.
Novole is on the border between Toscana and Umbria and it is 2 hours from Rome, 1 hour and half from Florence, 1 hour from Siena and Assisi, 40 minutes from Arezzo and Perugia and 15 minutes from lake Trasimeno. In summer it is also possible to swim in some small lakes or pools in the neighbourhood.
We have 3 cottages for guests:
The farmhouse has two floor. In the first floor there’s a kitchen and an ample living area with stone walls, a big fireplace and an amazing dinner area. In the second floor there is a bedroom with double bed and private bathroom, three other bedrooms, two of which with single bed and one with double bed, 1 bathroom and a sunny living area with a very old fireplace, armchairs and TV. It is suitable for 6 people.
The Chapel has a pleasant kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a comfortable sitting area with 2 single beds and a split level gallery with a double bed. It is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children.
The Cottage has a pleasant kitchen, a sitting area with a fire place, a galleried sleeping area with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower.
Each cottage has its own patio, with tables and sun-chairs where you can relax yourself and enjoy the Tuscan countryside.
Our house is close to the cottages; we produce a small quantity of red wine and olive oil, which guests can buy.
