Our John Wayne Suite is a one bedroom apartment with a queen size bed in the bedroom. Western and romantic this suite is a quiet inside unit and right off the balcony overlooking Old Town shops. A comfortable living room with an extra closet, has a loveseat with wicker desk, chair and accessories, TV/VCR and movies. Small kitchen seats two and has a micro wave, coffee pot, toaster, dishes, hidden fold out ironing board and iron plus. Small bathroom with shower. As a great vacation suite, you can have your own apartment away from home with great week rates. This unit is our most requested. Rates can be a little higher for a one night stay if it is available. Crab & Steak House, saloon & grill across the street, cafe coffee house 1/2 block either way.
This charming "1925 Circa" upper floor Historic Hotel is the oldest hotel in Cottonwood and on the National Historic Register. Our front balcony overlooks the heart of Old Town. Walking distance to the Dead Horse State Park, the Verde River Greenway Riparian (one of twenty in the world of it's kind!) This rare Riparian Gallery Forest is a self-guided walking tour. Pick up your brochure at the Jail Trail trailhead (behind the old jail in Old Town) and learn what this riparian is all about besides hiking trails, ruins, birding, bicycling, fishing and more. Historic Old Town also has an array of unique funky shops and their keepers, cafes, art galleries, antique shops plus a historic guided walking tour. We are only minutes from Sedona, Jerome, Tuzigoot National Monument Historic Indian Ruins, Verde Valley River Train Excursion, Blazin' M Cowboy Dinner & Show, Free Rides to Cliff Castle Casino, golfing & much more. 1 1/2 hours north of Phoenix, 2 hours south of the Grand Canyon. A great place to stay at an affordable price and central to visit all of Arizona!
